In Phnom Penh we set ourselves up in a little windowless room and spent 5 days drinking fancy cocktails in classy colonial buildings such as the Foreign Correspondants Club, and places with a swimming pool and eating luxurious Western food like fondue and top class pizza for $6 a pop. We got a taste of the high life and our budget has never been the same since!
