Nha Trang

Second full day in Nha Trang, and it's Chinese New Year's Eve 4708, or 2010. Whenever it is, the Vietnamese has closed up shop for the next week, and there's people setting up stages, fireworks and decorations all over town.
As a kind of tester to see if I'm going to do a scuba diving course, yesterday Kae and I slpurged $15 to go on a snorkelling trip alongside scuba divers. A fun trip, with a surprisingly large and tasty smorgasbord for lunch. The reef was unbelievable - huge and pristine. We snorkelled around and the divers were 5-10 metres below us, seeing much the same thing, so decision made - no scuba course for now.
Spent the evening with the scuba divers, Andy and Mark, at a couple of bars, and had a couple more of those deadly cocktails!
We're set up for the New Year celebrations now, and have bedded down in Nha Trang, with a ticket out ona sleeper bus to the more unique town of Hoi An.
